Margaret Swinford - Class of 1961

Margaret Wright Swinford – Graduated from Bethesda Hospital School of Nursing in  1961.  She later obtained both a BSN and MSN in nursing.  She was employed by Bethesda Hospital School of Nursing and the Cincinnati State Bethesda Nursing Program for most of her career.  Mrs. Swinford served on the Alumni Board for many years and as the President for more than 25 years until her retirement from that post. She was granted Emeritus standing from both Cincinnati State Technical and Community College and the Alumni Association, Bethesda School of Nursing.  She remains actively involved with the Alumni Board serving on both the scholarship committee and the alumni membership presentation given to nursing students at Cincinnati State.
