Allene Hayes Geary - Class of 1956

Allene Geary, RN, BSN, M.Ed, graduated from the Bethesda School of Nursing in 1956.  She retired in 2008 after an active career in nursing.  She worked as a staff nurse at Bethesda Hospital Oak on the Medical-Surgical Units and Emergency Department, and at the Veterans Hospital in the Emergency Department and Clinic.  She was an instructor at Mercy Hospital Fairfield and Drake Hospital.

Ms. Geary has a BSN and  M.Ed from the University of Cincinnati.

Ms. Geary has been an Alumni Association member since graduation and became a Board member several years ago.  Now she volunteers at Bethesda North in the Chaplain Department.
